The Best Colleges for Transferring to Universities In Oklahoma

Successful Student has ranked the Best Colleges for Transferring to Universities in Oklahoma.

Often times, it makes good sense for a student to begin their college career at a junior or community college, or four year college that has a credit transfer relationship with the university that you'd like to attend.

This type of schooling is beneficial before heading to a university for a lot of reasons, but one of the most important is that financially, these colleges can provide the foundation for a four-year degree for a fraction of the cost as a major university.

Other students might find it beneficial to begin their college career at a smaller institution to better acclimate themselves to the college life. Still others might be looking to save money by staying close to home, or maybe participate in athletics on a smaller scale.

No matter the reason, a community or a junior college can be the right decision for many students. Oklahoma offers many options that can be stepping stones into the three major universities there - Oklahoma State University, the University of Tulsa and the University of Oklahoma.

This article will highlight Redlands Community College, Tulsa Community College and Northern Oklahoma College.
