George Washington University, located in Washington, D.C., offers a variety of degree and certificate programs that are fully online.

George Washington University's online programs involves virtual classrooms in which students interact with other students and with professors.

  • Master of Professional Studies in Homeland Security

Homeland Security instruction teaches students these three aspects, Threats, Analysis, and Response, to threats. The Bachelor's completion program is 120 credits.

There are three parts required:

  • 60 credit hours of core courses in Homeland Security
  • 38 credits in electives
  • 22 general education courses (can be taken at any regionally accredited institution and transferred):
    • Natural or Physical Science with Lab
    • Mathematics or Statistics
    • Written Communication or Composition
    • Social and Behavioral Sciences
    • Arts or Humanities

The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a Major in Clinical Health Sciences is only available to these active duty servicemen:

  • Air Force Independent Medical Technicians
  • Army Special Forces Medical Sergeants
  • Navy Independent Duty Corpsmen
  • Coast Guardsmen may be eligible who have finished a Navy IDC School (contingent on their duty assignment at the time). 

Public Relations is expected to grow as much as 23% to 2032, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The Master's in Public Relations and Communications prepares students for the growing field of public relations, with long term career stability, whether working in politics or private industry.
