Regent University (Virginia Beach, Virginia)
As a traditional, private research institution for higher education, Regent University offers numerous associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs in more than 70 fields of study. There are many degrees available online and on-campus, and Regent maintains a ‘Christ-focused curriculum’ throughout all eight academic schools which comprise the university.
Founded in 1978 by Pat Robertson as a Christian Broadcasting Network University, Regent is currently located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The school maintains a total enrollment of more than 10,000 students, with a student-to-faculty ratio of 19:1.

The online programs are a point of pride for Regent University. The available degree fields include Business, Education, Healthcare, Leadership, Religion and Theology, Science, Theater and Music, and many more. Students can expect online courses to run eight to 15 weeks in duration. Overall, Regent University is one of only 25 institutions for higher education ‘to receive an “A” rating by the American Council of Trustees and Alumni’ for the excellent standards to which it holds the online education curriculum.
